||Special Accounts Officer
Job Duties: Will monitor and ensure quality control of all aspects of Individual Retirement Accounts (IRAs), ROTHs, Health Savings Accounts (HSAs) and escheatable accounts. Position is also responsible for ensuring compliance with the Internal Revenue Service, Franchise Tax Board and State Controller's Office regulations, revisions and reporting requirements. This includes, but is not limited to 1099R's, 5498's and the annual escheatment of dormant accounts.
Minimum Requirements: The ideal candidate must have a minimum of 2-4 years credit union or financial institution experience working with Individual Retirement Accounts (IRAs), ROTH and Health Savings Accounts (HSAs) and thorough knowledge of the Internal Revenue Service, Franchise Tax Board and State Controller's Office regulations, revisions and reporting requirements. Individual must also possess excellent verbal and written communication skills, as well as excellent math skills and have the ability to perform complex, detailed computations with accuracy. Must work independently with little supervision.
