All applicants are required to complete three online courses regarding financial responsibility. The courses are:
At the end of each course, you will be asked to print out a completion certificate that will be need to be submitted with the Teen Visa application. You will also receive a free music download from e-Music.
The applicant must have a parent or guardian sign the application authorizing parental consent for the teen to apply. The parent is not considered a co-signer and is not obligated for the Visa. The parent granting permission must be a PLCU member in good standing.
Call or stop by your nearest PLCU branch to apply today. You can download and print the Teen Visa Application. You will need to bring all three required completed course certificates and the completed Teen Visa application. You will also need to be between the ages of 15 and 17. If you are not already a member of PLCU, there is a minimum opening deposit of $5 and a one-time $5 membership fee.
30 days after the youth turns 18 years old, the Visa account will expire. PLCU may offer, at its discretion, the issuance of a PLCU Platinum Visa account in its place based on the overall repayment history. Members will be notified 30 days prior to their 18th birthday that the expiration date is forthcoming.
