Up to $250,000 in deposit insurance is provided for the funds in a member's retirement accounts, primarily Traditional and Roth IRAs (Individual Retirement Accounts), at one insured credit union.
In addition, the IRAs and other retirement accounts are insured separately from other non-retirement
accounts at the same credit union. A member’s non-retirement accounts
are also insured up to at least $250,000.
