Paying in stores
Forget fumbling through your wallet and handing over a card next time you’re in a store. With Android Pay you can simply unlock your phone, place it near a contactless terminal, and you’re good to go. You don’t even need to open an app.
Paying in apps
With Android Pay, you'll never have to enter your shipping and billling information for online checkout again. Just select "Buy with Android Pay" and we'll make sure your payment is processed quickly and securely.
When you shop at a merchant, Android Pay doesn’t send your actual credit or debit card number with your payment. Instead we use a virtual account number to represent your account information — so your card details stay safe.
To use Android Pay:
Consumers can make a purchase in two ways:
- Paying In-Store: Unlock phone at an NFC enabled terminal and hold phone to the terminal
until a check mark appears
- In-App: Select Android Pay and either use fingerprint, PIN code, password or pattern to
